EDNA AND ALICE SEW TROUSERS AND A DRESS

Warming up a little to-day.
Sunshine all day.
Snow plows opening the
roads. Snow drifts all
around every where.
Henry went to G.R.
Sold 66# = 44 doz @ 1 1/2¢ per lb.
$10.25
Alice and I sewed to-day.
I'm making Roger trousers. Alice is making Shirley a dress.
Cleaned chicken coop to-nite.
84 eggs

Roger and Shirley are the children of Alice —Edna's grandchildren.
I found a pattern from 1936 illustrating trousers for boys and dresses for girls. Perhaps Edna and Alice were using a similar pattern to make the trousers and dress for Roger and Shirley.
