A HARD FROST AND A SUPPER

Hard frost.

Supper at Wingeier's

Went to show.

Edna didn't have much to say on this day in 1936, but the presidential election is just a couple of days away. She will share her sentiments in the coming days.

The Lowell Ledger for the week leading up to the Presidential Election of 1936 was filled with political ads and editorials. Voters like Edna must have felt inundated with political advertising and campaigns as we do today. Thank goodness they didn't suffer the robo calls and text messages we are all receiving.

I have included a gallery of some of the ads and editorials and voter information from that edition of the Ledger below.
