HENRY IS LATE. MORSE TURNS 22.
Continued cold. Very very cold
last night. Little sunshine this P.M.
Washed in basement to-day.Have
oil stove + machines in basement.
Cleaned floor of basement,.
Henry went to Kalamazoo and
G.R. on business.
Henry didn't get home until 8 o'clock.
The kids were sitting on "needles
and pins" - They should be in G.R.
for music lessons at 7:30.
Morse took them. All had their
lessons. Henry Jr. had a mark of A
$1.00 to Hank for guitar lesson.
Rec'd a letter from Aldrich
—California to-day

Today is Morse's birthday. Edna made cake and ice cream yesterday so they could celebrate.
I wonder if her remarks about the kids being on "needles and pins" was more her being a bit angry that Henry was that late getting home.
Morse died on August 15, 1966, just a few days after his mother Edna passed away.
