MORSE VISITS FROM CHICAGO. EDNA MAKES ICE CREAM.

Just a little warmer to-day.

But a blizzard arrived again

to-night. Roads are filling up.

Red came to-night. So bad

Can't get home. Staying all night.

Made ice-cream again today.

Henry went to G.R. - Morse went to Lowell a little while to-night.

Had chicken mash ground. $4.00

89 eggs - Paid .99¢ mash[?] [?]

Washed Morse's clothes.

Morse + Mable Watts drove from

Chicago last night. Arrived at 11:30 P.M.

JELL-O Ice Cream Powder was all the rage in the early 1900's. They sold the "magic" powder needed to make ice cream and even published a cookbook with a variety of ice cream recipes.

The original gelatin dessert began in Le Roy, New York, in 1897. The dessert was especially popular in the 1930s and 1950s.

The Johnson family must really enjoy ice cream because Edna makes it regularly for a treat.
