EDWINA IS PLEASED AND SO IS EDNA
Henry + I went to church. Took the
lamp and Alvin Bergy presented
it to Edwina at close of S.S. hour.
She was much pleased.
Edwina and Edna were great friends.
Edna was part of a committee in charge of purchasing a gift for Edwina in gratitude for her leadership of the Ladies Aid Society. The committee purchased a lamp for $4.50.
Edwina was "much pleased" with the gift.
I think Edna was much pleased, too. She was pleased she was part of the committee. She was pleased with the gift they selected. She was pleased that Edwina was pleased.
