EDNA BUSY KEEPING FURNACE AND COOK STOVE GOING

Very cold and snappy.

Storm has abated.

Received a nice long letter

from Morse. Likes school and

getting along fine.

Can't accomplish much

new day - keeps one busy

keeping the furnace and cook

stove going to warm up.

Made ice cream again

to-day.

Henry went to G.R.

Ralph helped Hank with the

chores.

86 eggs.

My own daughter is currently in Chicago attending college at Loyola University. It is so much easier for me to stay connected and know how she is getting along than it was for Edna (my great grandmother). I can only imagine her excitement to receive a long letter from Morse and to know tat he "likes school and is getting along fine."
